So I felt like jumping carriers and switched to Vonage. It's great. I have control over all the features that I want to have/use all over the website. I've got a home phone again. Being a cell user for so many years I have forgotten how nice it is to not be bothered by a phone except when you are home. I also get a nice feature of being able to use things like a DVR for my satellite and I get to have a standard fax machine again. I can still take my phone with me when I go traveling since all I need is a boradband connection. Tech friends and family and tech savvy hotels are prime for me to bring it around with my travels. I'm digging it. Oh yeah, another plus... I got my box for free. All I do is pay for my subscription. Can't beat that.

So I've been working for the Forwards Corporation as a manager and I've been working a ton of 10 hour shifts recently. On Sunday, I swapped shifts with one of the other managers so she could do something with her kid in the3 afternoon. What a mistake. From just after the time I went in at 4pm to almost 10pm we were relentlessly hammered at over at Dunkin and Baskin. On top of that, the midnight guy called in and said he'd be late because he forgot to set his clock for DST. The best part is that I was supposed ot be in on Monday at 6am. The only good part is that I was only working 8 hours on Sunday as opposed to my normal 10. Since mt feet hurt really bad, I get to go and tach martial arts to a buch of little kids tonight at 6pm. Hardwood floor, here I come!
