1/29/2005 09:27:00 AM - Well lookie here!
It looks like I've got a full featured blogging client now! The best
part is that it comes on virtually every PC and PDA! It's my email
client. ^_^ Blogger.com got the server up and running properly
without the insane amount of lag. The only thing is that if I have to
make any changes, edits or whatever I still have to log into the site.
There is one client called BlogBuddy but it's not as robust as the
client that I yearn for... Semagic for LiveJournal. It doesn't let
you post/edit subjects or adjust posting time like Semagic does. I
don't get why this is such a programming feat for the programmers to
do? All of the client programs for Blogger.com that I've found have
that glaring deficiency in the development. A good portion of them
don't allow you to switch your listing if you have multiple blogs.
With all of the functionality thatI've been looking for in a blog
program, I guess BlogBuddy seems to be the best of the bunch. Still
not really even as good as an email client with the exxception of
switching between your blogs and having the ability to edit your
previous posts. (That's only the post, not the title since it can't
read the title??!)

1/27/2005 11:11:00 AM - Feeling Nostalgic
So I am sitting here by myself reconfiguring my WiFi router and looking for some music to put in my Radio.Blog playlist. I realized that there's only one song from the Dream A Little Dream soundtrack in there. It's Van Morrison's Into The Mystic. One of my top songs of all times. One of the other top songs is Otis Redding's I've Got Dreams to Remember. That isn't in my playlist and nobody has it on the Radio.Blog service. I ended up going to CDNow to see if it's even still available and better yet, on CD. Low and behold, not only is the gem available on CD, it's available for under $4!!! I think I'm going to go shopping for music this weekend. Something that I havn't done in years. I think it will be fun.
Other things that are on tap for this weekend:
~Go to Ann Arbor
-Visit Zingerman's Deli
-Play some games at Pinball Pete's
-Say hi to the Wizziwigs guys
~Rejoice that I was hired for my day job, which I find out tomorrow if I get it or not.
~Relax with The Freshness
Hope to go do something on that list. It's probably only going to be the last one. I can't say that's such a bad thing either. It's one of the best things in my life and I look forward to doing it every second that I get.

1/26/2005 05:05:00 PM - Looking to start another personal project
I was thinking of bringing my computer usage into the next step. I will still keep my other PC around till I get that one upgraded into something a bit beefier but I want something that is kind of trick and a great conversation piece. Looking at the projects on Mini-ITX.com I have been thinking that I can do something cool. Some of the things that I have laying around that can work/fit is a big plastic beer penguin, a Dreamcast, a cement gargoyle, a 3DO, a CDi and a 1st gen Sega Genesis with SegaCD and 32X. The existing electronics still work great so I don't think I'll be haking the crap out of those till they die. Now I do have 4 or so Playstations sitting around too. Hmmm... That might be a good choice. I was also thinking of buying an old single slice toaster and doing that up too. So many choices! :( I think that will be the hardest part, just deciding on what I'm going to put my new PC in. *sigh*

1/23/2005 03:42:00 AM - Some of the best movies I've seen...
So I'm down here in my parent's house at 3:43am not able to sleep. (Not the bad way like a few weeks ago...) I was thinking about some of the great movies that I've seen through the course of my life. Just thought I'd share...
(Not in any particular order ^_^ )
Napoleon Dynamite
Ju On 2: The Grudge
The Joy Luck Club
Grave of the Fireflies
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Pumpkin
Mononoke Hime
Pootie Tang
Equilibrium
City of Lost Children
Run Lola Run
Hero
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Tanooki Pon Poko
Office Space
Last Hurrah for Chivalry
Dream A Little Dream
Replacement Killers
Ong Bak
Shaolin Soccer
I'm sure that there may be more, but this list is pretty good for now. I'll probably add more after I remember some of the ones that I may have forgotten right now... It is almost 4am! Gnight!
