My Fresh Squeezin's (Blogger)

Ahh, the freshly squozen thoughts of Dalum. I try to post as often as I can, but sometimes life is just too busy to get stuff out in a reasonable amount of time. Please enjoy my random thoughts and drop me a line if you like.

1/20/2005 03:04:00 PM - I got a job!

I'm very excited! Not only am I employed, I get to go back to teaching children martial arts! On top of that, I met with the vice president of the company and she is very interested in expanding the group's events to Young Guns Paintball! Guess who gets to coach that one? ^_^ That is all secondary till I get my whole body in the door. That will all start February 5th. I'm geeked. ^_^

1/19/2005 03:51:00 PM - Things are looking up for once in a long time.

Where do I start? My severance came in the mail. I get 4 weeks of money at my old rate of pay. I've got 3 jobs lined up. 1 is a full time marketing job in Saginaw. It kind of feels like some greasy MLM with more of a brick & mortar feel. So when I go back for my second interview, I'll get a better idea then. The other 2 are part time but they are looking very promising. The first one is like the other one only in the fact that it's a day job. It would be working in an office for a fund raising group. Nice and easy from what I can tell. The other one is a job teaching martial arts (AGAIN! YAY!!!!) for little kids. I do a prelim phone interview today after 4 and an in person interview tomorrow when the other office person is in the Saginaw area. I'm feeling pretty good. It hasn't been like this in a while. Hope it lasts a long time. ^_^ On top of all that, my design work (side project) is starting to come together too! I hope to get my first production run funded very soon. That will help me get my top secret design rolling for spring.

1/17/2005 09:33:00 PM - Damnit...

I've been sending out resumes to potential employers with a bigass typo on it. Not one that can be poo poo'd off either. It's a job title from past employment experience. It was my last job title. So it's RIGHT UP THERE to read like I'm some sort of a-hole moron that can't tell the difference between sames and sales. I'm a friggin moron.

1/17/2005 01:05:00 AM - How to dance... Like a Goth...

Good reading. If you really want to dance the way that the Goths do, read up on this before heading down to your local club. Try not to conform to the steps though. LOL!

(Thanx to Nyra for finding this one.)
