My Fresh Squeezin's (Blogger)

Ahh, the freshly squozen thoughts of Dalum. I try to post as often as I can, but sometimes life is just too busy to get stuff out in a reasonable amount of time. Please enjoy my random thoughts and drop me a line if you like.

11/22/2004 06:32:00 PM - Free MMORPG?

With both versions of EverCrack out now and the looming of Worlds of Warcraft almost upon us, I was thinking that there HAS to be some sort of free online RPG out there. On an outting with my daughter () and to the newly re-opened Sage Library, we saw this group of boys having their quiet little "LAN party" in the children's section. They were playing this RPG on the web within a browser called RuneScape. Now this has been around for a while now and I remember reading about it way back when, but I never got into this one. The graphics were 3 dimentional and plain but above decent. For those of you that believe that when you get a game you shouldn't have to pay more for it, then I'd suggest checking out RuneScape. Keep in mind that ti's Java based and it's ad laiden, but so what... It's a small price to pay for a pretty decent, FREE MMORPG.

*Cue the Reading Rainbow book suggestion music*
